I have to admit that I feel ashamed writing this article, because this theory is too easy to destroy with common sense. You do not even need pictures, videos or science. The only thing you need is common sense. As I have been noticing this movement is becoming bigger and annoying due to these people that do not believe in anything, only in their own theory, any argument that you show to them is always the same answer: "I've never been there", "that is not true", etc etc etc.
I decided to prove this using their own theory and common sense, in this way is impossible that they say any of their common answers.
I divided these arguments in 3 points:
1) Sun's orbit
The next image you will see how is the sun's orbit on a Flat Earth map.
When is summer in the Northern hemisphere the Sun orbits over the Tropic of Cancer and when is summer in the Southern hemisphere the Sun orbits over the Tropic of Capricorn. The Flat Earth Theory says the sun has a constant speed and it takes 24 hours to do this travel around the circumference. Where is the big error? well it is just impossible that the Sun has a constant speed and it takes 24 hours to do the lap in the Tropic of Cancer and takes the same amount of hours to do the Tropic of Capricorn which is a quite much larger circumference.
2) Quantity of daylight hours by hemisphere
The next image-animation shows you the Sun going over the Equator in the Flat Earth map. As you can see the center of the disc would be experimenting around 24 hours of daylight, because the more far away you are from the sun the more hours of daylight you have as the disc is getting more narrow. Now when the Sun goes down to the Tropic of Capricorn it does completely the opposite: the more far away you are from the sun the more hours of daylight you have, but the disc is getting wider. You can see this information on the daylights hours that experiment South America from Venezuela and going down through: Brasil, Buenos Aires (Argentina) until Ushuaia (Argentina) and The South Pole close to it.
3) The Flat Earth Theory cannot explain why there are 24 hours daylight in summer in the South Pole or in the Ring of Ice that you can see on the images above. this last point is just impossible in the Flat Earth Theory. the Sun would not be able to illuminate the whole ring without doing the same in the whole Earth.
Flat Earthers use to answer to this question saying that we are not allowed to go to The Antartica or they have not been there to prove this by themselves. And the answer to this really silly "argument" is: we are allowed to go The Antartica, you do not even need a visa, just a valid passport. if you search on internet you will find some tourist agencies that can take you to this place. And also their recommendations to travel to the South Pole is in summer when the weather is much better and you can experiment up to 24 hours of daylight.
Next time you find a dumb person believing in this theory ask about these 3 points and you will realize they do not have the answer, not even in their official web pages where they "explain how all this works". these 3 points even when they look simple, they destroy completely this theory and only using common sense and their own theory. Also all this information you can search it on internet to make sure what I am saying like: videos of 24 hours daylight in South Pole, agencies that go to South Pole, their recommendations, etc.
